MIDC had developed Ahmednagar industrial area in the year 1981-1982 and provided infrastructure facilities in the area such as Roads, Water supply lines, Street Light, etc. The main source of water for this industrial area is Mula Dam. The raw water that is lifted from the jack well at the Mula dam is treated in WTP Ahmednagar.
Due to the aging effect & contact with soil and water, the pipeline gets damaged frequently. To reduce the working pressure on the pipeline and to enhance the capacity, it was proposed to construct a booster pumping station near Dehre village, which is 13 Km from Jack well.
